Karmic cycles of birth & rebirth are a scientific reality. When a leaf dies, it becomes dust and mud and a new leaf again. When a fruit dies, it springs forth a multitude of fruit bearing trees. Similarly humanity is bound by the karmic cycles of birth and death. A leaf affected by insects will die earlier than a healthy leaf. So how to remain healthy?

Kriya means an action done with awareness. Karma means nature driven action. Natural action or Karma brings you natural reactions from the world & the related Karmic cycles of the cells. But if you do Karma with awareness it becomes a Kriya. Kriya helps you break the natural cycles of birth & death, whether of your primal zygotic cell (called the Jeeva) or all the 37.2 trillion cells of your body. Breathing involuntarily is the method of the animals & natural humans. Breathing with awareness can make you a divine cosmic human

Oxygen or O2 molecule or Prana is a special gift to animated creatures from the early oceans. Present day photosynthesizing algae, planktons, plants & trees produce billions of tons of Oxygen everday for our consumption. Green life creates an ocean of Oxygen which is the vital life energy of animated world. When we breath air we breath only 21% Oxygen molecules. Rest are non-oxygen elements and chemicals. Most of the air on planet Earth also has toxic chemicals between 2-5%.

The 108 Kriyas given by Shiva are methods to filter the unwanted elements from air and consume a high density of Oxygen through "Mindful Breathing". These techniques increase the rate of birth of cells and will eventually cross the rate of death of cells. This way Kriya reverses the aging process of the brain which then reverses the aging process of all body cells and organs.

The birth of Shiva Kriya

Shiva in Kriya

Kriya is the cosmic breath of Lord Shiva. As he breathes in and out the Universe expands and contracts. The human body is an instrument to connect to this highest possibility of consciousness. It can be achieved through observation of the breath within the human body. The breath is a portal. Shiva is the most meditative man ever alive. In history, story and in folk lore he is depicted to be a saintly personality who prefers to stay away from mainstream life and engaged in Meditation and Tapas all the time. The only reason he is ever know to wake up and interact with the world is when a true Bhakta (devotee) is in need of his support & blessings. Else Shiva is a renunciate. What does Shiva do in all that deep meditation is a mystery. We can only observe the external happenings in his body and learn indirectly.

parvati-meditatingA beautiful girl named Parvati, the daughter of the King of Mountains, Parvateshwara, has been told since her birth that Shiva is her husband. After attaining the age of 16, Shodashi, she sets out on a search for him and after much misery finds him in the caves of the Himalayas. Blissfully meditating with his eyes closed Shiva has become a rock. A rock that breathes. As she sat close to that Shiva, she started observing his breath. That it is in a beautiful rhythmic motion. The in-breath, out-breath and the intermediate silences resembled the vibrations of a heart. A cosmic heart. Like magic, Parvati became Shakti in the presence of this cosmic personality. Shakti became a voice inside Parvati.

You have to practice all these 108 techniques and become a Shakti if you have to wake up Shiva from his meditation", the voice said. Parvati took the lotus petals lying around in the ponds nearby and started noting in her own language (later known as Prakrit) the techniques of Shiva Yoga - Breath control to achieve self control. It took her 108 hours to write it down and 108 days to practice them. One Kriya per day, till she became Shakti & woke up Shiva from his meditation.

Vedic-LiteratThese notes are referred by various religions by various names. Some call it Sakhee Geeta, others call it Bhagavati Veda, Shakti Tantra, Raja Yoga, Kaala Sthambana Vidya, Kaula kalaa etc., These original texts are hidden within the earths core and cannot be accessed by humans. They can only be realised in deep meditations.

Kriya past, present & future

The secrets of Shiva Kriyas are revealed only to those who are chosen by Shiva and Shakti. They are the cosmic creators who work above Kaala Chakra (Cycle of Time) in the KaalaaTeeta zone (Zone of No time). Nothing can be beyond them. In recent history few humans have been chosen to deliver the secrets of Kriya to the world.

Mahavatar Baba initiates & the lineage of Paramahamsa Yogananda have introduced many secrets of Shiva Kriyas as a "Kriya Yoga" which helped the entire 20th century humans to avert a nuclear war and create peace on Planet Earth.

After 2012 a mass awakening of humans has funneled planet-wide interest in Kriya Yoga to search for peace, bliss and tranquility. To avert war and find peace. But this is the time of great change. Great change comes at great cost. Similar to the Mahabharata there is going to be a great churning in the cosmic ocean called Planet Earth. Millions will die to reduce Bhu-Bhaara (liabilities to Planet Earth). It is a time of the great deluge where very few will be protected from the mayhem of Shiva Tandava. Practice of Shiva Kriya helps us protect ourselves from this mass destruction and get ready for the upcoming Golden Age - Suvarna Yuga.

Meditation, Mantra, Mudra

The next generation of humans will morph their daily rituals to include frequent meditations, mantra recitations (cosmic hymns heard during creation) & aware of their mudra (body-mind posture) through the day
